How do you have a Christmas Jumper Day at work when everyone is working from home? At SL Controls, we all met up in festive attire in our virtual canteen!<\/p>\n
We hold regular virtual canteen events to help everyone on the team stay connected with their colleagues. While not a perfect substitute for meeting up in person, they are still a good way to socialize in the workplace.<\/p>\n
We used our Christmas Jumper Day this year to raise money for the Simon Community and its efforts to help those at risk of homelessness.<\/p>\n
Shauna Ryan, SL Controls HR Manager, said: \u201cEven though these events are virtual, they are still fun, and it is great to chat to the team about non-work topics. It was also good to see everyone getting into the festive spirit with their Christmas jumpers and having fun with filters and backgrounds.<\/p>\n
